Turandot, named after Giacomo Puccini's final opera, draws its inspiration from the emotional intensity, dramatic contrasts, and lyrical beauty of his music. The celebrated aria Nessun dorma holds particular significance for Karina Gentinetta, whose connection to Puccini is deeply personal and intertwined with memories of her mother and a shared love of opera.

Against a softly aged ground of warm, stone-colored neutrals, expressive passages of muted salmon, soft apricot, and luminous red emerge alongside deeper gestures of plum and burgundy. Subtle touches of earthy umber and raw sienna lend warmth and depth, while delicate graphite lines and quieter tones temper the more saturated areas.
